  3. What Vallen JPegger is:

  6. Vallen JPegger is a handy and full featured image viewer 
  7. (automatic thumbnails, full customisable print support, 
  8. up to 144 Images per page, twain interface, slide show, 
  9. screen capture, and more).
  10. Since Version 4 Vallen JPegger also includes an MP3 player 
  11. and organizer including a tag editor: MP3 files are 
  12. categorized according their MP3 tag information into artist, 
  13. genre and album in a comfortable tree structure. Great for 
  14. larger music archives.

  16. No installation required, therefore no system changes. 
  17. Most important start options can be configured by command 
  18. line parameters. So Vallen JPegger is the ideal tool to be 
  19. used on your own image and/or music CDs.

  38. JPegger doesn't need an installation. Therefore it can easily be used
  39. on a CD. Simply copy the JPegger folder onto a CD. There is no problem 
  40. to start Vallen JPegger from AUTORUN.INF on a CD.

  51. What Vallen JPegger is optimized for:

  54. Vallen JPegger is optimized for ease-of-use, fast image viewing and
  55. printing. Best and fastest operation on Windows NT/2000/XP as there 
  56. are some special image viewing functions which are not supported on
  57. Windows 9x/Me.

  59. Terms of Usage
  60. --------------
  61. Vallen JPegger is free for private non-commercial use as well as for 
  62. use in charity organizations and educational use. Private use is 
  63. only when used by individuals at home on their private PC.
  64. Educational use is by students for education in school or university.
  65. The use of Vallen JPegger Version 4.60 or later requires one license 
  66. per workstation in companies, public facilities or authorities. 
  67. One License contains the non-exclusive right to use the software on 
  68. one workstation for an unlimited period of time for the current 
  69. version including updates for one year beginning with the invoice date.

  71. Evaluation

  73. There is an evaluation period of 30 days granted once to companies and 
  74. public facilities to evaluate Vallen JPegger without a license. After 
  75. expiration of the evaluation period licensing of the software is 
  76. required for further use.

  80. The current version of Vallen JPegger can be downloaded from the 
  81. Internet free of charge. The current download link is (but might be

  84. Redistribution

  86. Vallen JPegger maybe redistributed in its original unmodified form 
  87. as published by Vallen-Systeme GmbH. The software may also be 
  88. redistributed on data media, as long as Vallen-Systeme GmbH receives 
  89. a copy free of charge. Terms of Usage are obligatory for any use of 
  90. the software.

  92. Decompilation and Modifications

  94. Decompiling the program into other code types as well as other ways 
  95. to retrieve any earlier stages of the production process 
  96. (Reverse-Engineering) including any modifications even for personal 
  97. use requires written confirmation of Vallen-Systeme GmbH.

  101. Vallen-Systeme GmbH supplies Vallen JPegger according to the Terms 
  102. of Usage given above. Vallen JPegger is protected by copyright laws. 
  103. Vallen-Systeme GmbH doesnÆt guarantee the usability of the program 
  104. for any purpose and cannot be made liable for any type of damages or 
  105. any loss of money or data or consequential damages or losses that may 
  106. arise by the use of this program or any of its updates. The program 
  107. is licensed in the status as provided for evaluation.
